ME: How did you meet Bruce Lee?

GFM: Bruce was young and interested in fighting. The person who brought him told Bruce that I was a formidable fighter.
ME: How did he know that?
GFM: At that time I was a well-known Sifu in New York. Many people here and in China thought I was too young to be a Sifu. Consequently, I received many challenges and met them successfully. I wanted people to know my art, so I demonstrated at many Karate and martial arts competitions. My students competed in the first Karate versus Kung Fu contest in California.
